The Dr. Amen Method: I completed the Licensed Brain Health Trainer program through Amen University. Amen University is founded by the world-renowned psychiatrist Dr. Daniel Amen. What brought me to this particular program is they took a new approach to psychiatry that changed my life, inspiring me to share it with others. 

The Dr. Amen Method is a brain-centered approach developed by Dr. Amen, integrating brain imaging, psychology, and neuroscience to optimize mental health. He takes a holistic approach to brain health by considering biological, psychological, social, and spiritual factors. This complete and targeted approach has proven beneficial for even the most complex mental health issues. 

I take this comprehensive approach and I simplify it. I am not a psychiatrist. My primary education is in accounting. I take the information and present in a way that makes sense to me, which is simple, straightforward, and fact based. 

Renew Your Mind Institute Life Coach Certification: I completed my life coach certification in 2025 through Renew Your Mind Institute founded by Christian life coach Diana Swillinger.

This faith-based certification focuses on the power of renewing the mind through thought work—giving me the tools to help women shift their mindset, process emotions in a healthy way, and experience lasting transformation.

I am a high-achiever with high-functioning anxiety. I am a mother of two, and I have a 
career in accounting with experience in a high demand leadership role. I understand the pressures and challenges life can bring. I also have experienced the darkness of depression. My personal journey enables me to deeply relate to those balancing ambitious goals but are experiencing mental struggles.

I have personally tried the strategies taught through Amen University, and it has changed my life. I was once overwhelmed, anxious, and regrettably not present. Now, I am calm, present, and the happiest I have ever been. I even see improvements in my cognitive abilities and focus! I want to shout everything I know from the rooftop!
